Press Conference: Office of Home Energy Programs to receive funding from Potomac Edison to offset customer arrearages

Potomac Energy customers in seven Maryland jurisdictions to benefit from $600,000

 BALTIMORE, MD – Maryland’s Office of Home Energy Program staff will receive $600,000, from representatives of Potomac Energy, during an event on Friday, June 24, 2011 at the Frederick County Department of Social Services.  The funding will offset energy bills of qualified ratepayers in several Maryland Counties.

 Potomac Edison, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy, serves nearly 220,000 residential customers in Allegany, Carroll, Frederick, Garrett, Howard, Montgomery, and Washington Counties.
